U.K. Stocks Are Little Changed After Two-Day Rally

U.K. Stocks were little changed, following a two-day rally for the benchmark FTSE 100 Index.

Tesco Plc (TSCO) and BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP) paced advancing shares, both rising more than 1 percent in London. CRH Plc (CRH) and Bunzl Plc (BNZL) retreated.

The FTSE 100 slid 0.1 percent to 5,764.07 at 8:21 a.m. in London after swinging between gains and losses.

Tesco climbed 1.7 percent to 333.85 pence after the U.K.’s largest retailer posted annual profit that was in line with analysts’ estimates.

BHP climbed 1.3 percent to 1,950.5 pence after the world’s largest mining company reported a 14 percent rise in third- quarter iron ore production.

CRH slid 1.3 percent to 1,262 pence in London tradaing, after rallying 3.7 percent yesterday. Bunzl lost 1.1 percent to 1,015 pence after the company released a trading statement.
