Responsible Shale Won’t Win Public Over, Chesapeake Says

Responsible exploitation of shale resources doesn’t ensure winning over public opinion, Mike Stice, senior vice president at Chesapeake Energy Corp. (CHK), told delegates at the Flame conference in Amsterdam.

U.S. natural-gas prices will rebound as producers reduce drilling and weather normalizes, Stice said in an interview at the conference.
