IMF’s Lagarde Sees Scope for ECB Monetary Easing, FAZ Reports

International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde said the European Central Bank has scope to help economic growth in the euro area where low inflation prevails, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported.

“We see good reasons for a monetary easing in those industrial states in which inflation is under control -- there is scope,” Lagarde is cited as saying in an interview.
