Carney Says He Intends to Fulfill His Bank of Canada Role

Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney said he plans to fulfill his responsibilities at the central bank and as chairman of the Financial Stability Board, and reiterated that a Financial Times report asserting he was approached to succeed Bank of England Governor Mervyn King was not accurate.

Carney made the comments to reporters today in Ottawa.
