Suez Agrees to Sell Stake in Budapest Water Works, Nemzet Says

Budapest officials have reached agreement with Suez Environnement SA (SEV) on the terms of repurchasing a 25 percent stake in the Hungarian capital’s water works, Magyar Nemzet reported, without citing anyone.

Budapest had previously offered to pay 15.1 billion forint ($66 million) for the stake in the water works, which Suez co- owns with RWE Aqua GmbH, and to assume 2.5 billion forint of debt, the newspaper said.
