South Korea’s Kospi Index Rises After North’s Rocket Launch

South Korea’s stocks rose after the nation and Japan said North Korea’s rocket launch this morning may have failed.

South Korea’s benchmark Kospi index gained 0.5 percent to 1,996.72 as of 9:04 a.m. Seoul time.
