Latvian Tax Revenue Above Goal in First Quarter, Tax Chief Says

Latvia’s tax revenue was 12.8 percent more than planned in the first quarter as receipts from the value-added tax increased 27 percent, said Nelija Jezdakova, director of the country’s tax authority.

The tax authority may also collect more taxes than planned in April, she said in an interview with Latvijas Radio today.
