Ukraine’s Grain Exports Estimate Increased to 2.7 Million Tons

Ukraine’s grain exports were 2.7 million metric tons in March, up from a previous estimate of 2.32 million tons, UkrAgroConsult said.

March exports included 1.9 million tons of corn, 570,000 tons of wheat and 180,000 tons of barley, the Kiev-based researcher said in an e-mailed statement today. Shipments were down from February’s 1.2 million tons of corn and 388,000 tons of wheat, it said.

Exports since July 1 are 9 million tons of corn, 4 million tons of wheat and 2 million tons of barley, it said.
