Hungary Stocks: OTP Bank, Refiner Mol Are Active in Budapest

Hungary’s benchmark BUX stock index rose 0.6 percent to 17,979.91 as of 10:31 a.m. in Budapest. The following were among the most active equities in the Hungarian market today. Stock symbols follow company names.

OTP Bank Nyrt. (OTP) , Hungary’s largest lender, rebounded from the lowest close in almost three months as the Federal Reserve said the U.S. economy continues to expand, boosting bets on a recovery in the world economy. The shares advanced 0.8 percent to 3,628 forint.

Mol Nyrt. (MOL) , Hungary’s largest refiner, gained 0.5 percent to 17,360 forint. Oil rose for a second day in New York after fuel stockpiles declined more than expected.
