The following companies are having unusual price changes in Chilean trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 12:41 p.m. in Santiago.
Colbun SA (COLBUN) fell 1 percent to 138.1 pesos, its fourth day of losses. Chile’s third-largest power producer is seeking a $120 million bank loan to refinance debt, El Mercurio wrote, citing unidentified people close to the company. Officials at Colbun’s press office wren’t immediately available to comment.
Lan Airlines SA (LAN) rose 0.1 percent to 13,950 pesos, its second day of gains. Latin America’s largest airline by market value had its year-end price target raised to $33 per American depositary receipt at Banchile-Citi, the joint research department of Banco de Chile and Citigroup Inc.
Parque Arauco SA (PARAUCO) fell 1.6 percent to 945 pesos, and earlier dropped to 935.10 pesos, its lowest intraday price in five weeks. The Chilean shopping center developer was initiated at hold by Santiago-based brokerage IM Trust SA (2568219), which said that earnings from new projects won’t arrive until after 2015.
