Saudi Arabia Has 2 Million Sacks of Flour in Stock, Madina Says

Saudi Arabia has 2 million sacks of flour in stock, or enough for six months’ consumption, in the kingdom’s strategic wheat reserves, al-Madina newspaper reported, citing Agriculture Minister Fahad Balghunaim.

Saudi Arabia has no plans to expand rice production because it consumes large quantities of water, the newspaper reported.
