Peru Stocks: Atacocha, Austral, Candente, Brocal, Pomalca

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 3:10 p.m. Lima time.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell 0.5 percent to 23,284.84. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index (MXPECAPD) was little changed at 2,961.69.

Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca SA (POM\C) (POMALCC1 PE), a sugar producer, fell 3.4 percent to 56 centimos after sugar futures declined in New York.

Austral Group SA (AUSTRAC1 PE), a unit of Austevoll Seafood ASA, dropped 3.3 percent to 29 centimos after U.S. stocks slumped for a fifth day, said Daniel Romero, an analyst at Lima- based investment fund NC&F Inversiones SA.

Cia. Minera Atacocha SA (CMA\B) (ATACOBC1 PE), the Lima-based zinc mining company, declined 2.5 percent to 79 centimos after zinc futures dropped in London.

Sociedad Minera El Brocal SAA (SMBC) (BROCALC1 PE), a zinc and copper producer, fell 0.6 percent to 51 soles.

Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian copper exploration company, slid 2 percent to 99 cents after copper declined in New York.
