Madagascar Exports 101 Kilograms of Gold to March, Express Says

Madagascar exported 101 kilograms of gold in the three months through March compared with none a year ago, l’Express de Madagascar reported, citing Filemona Andrianjarasoa, director of the mines department.

Foreign currency income from the exports is equivalent to 8 billion ariary ($3.8 million), the Antananarivo-based newspaper reported on its website today.
