Omega Founder Robinson in Talks With FMG, Telegraph Reports

John Robinson, the founder of Omega Insurance Holdings Ltd. (OIH), a Lloyd’s of London underwriter, has held advanced discussions with Fund Management Group, the Daily Telegraph reported, without saying how it obtained the information.

FMG hopes wants to build a 15 percent stake in the company and overhaul its executive team including Chief Executive Officer Richard Pexton, the newspaper said. Omega declined to comment while Robinson couldn’t be reached for comment, the Telegraph said.
