Augusta National’s Payne Maintains Silence on Female Membership

The head of the Augusta National Golf Club maintain the organization’s silence on whether its membership will someday include a woman.

Club Chairman Billy Payne said at a news conference today in Augusta, Georgia, that all membership issues would be made in private, as has been its custom.
