Germany Seeks Pricing Data From Gas-Station Chains, FAZ Says

Germany’s Federal Cartel Office is seeking information from the country’s five largest gas-station operators following accusations from independent rivals about their pricing practices, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung said.

The government sought data from the operators of BP/Aral, Esso, Jet, Shell and Total as a first step in any further investigation, the newspaper cited the cartel office as saying.
