Mangalore Refinery Offers to Sell Oil Products for May Loading

Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) offered to sell 126,000 metric tons of oil products for loading in May, the company said in documents e-mailed to potential buyers.

Oil & Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC), India’s largest crude producer, owns 72 percent of Mangalore Refinery.

Details of the offer are as follow:

Product:    Fuel oil with 4 percent sulfur, 380-centistoke
Quantity:   80,000 metric tons
Loading:    May 7 to May 9
Product:    Aviation turbine fuel, comprising jet-kerosene
            and A1 grade jet fuel
Quantity:   36,000 metric tons
Loading:    May 9 to May 11
Product:    Mixed xylene
Quantity:   10,000 tons
Loading:    May 6 to May 15
Port:       New Mangalore, west coast of India
Bids open:  April 2, 9:30 a.m. local time
Bids close: April 3, 6:30 p.m. local time
