German Real Wages Have Dropped 2.9% Since 2000, Bild Reports

German real gross wages have dropped 2.9 percent since 2000, Bild newspaper reported, citing of the Hans Boeckler Foundation.

Increases of 1 percent in 2010 and 1.1 percent in 2011 weren’t enough to offset declines between 2004 and 2009, the newspaper said.
