Czech Watchdog Against Set Temelin Power Price, Hospodarske Says

The Czech energy regulator opposes a plan to set a guaranteed price for electricity generated by new reactors at the Temelin nuclear power plant, Hospodarske Noviny reported, citing Alena Vitaskova, who heads the watchdog.

Industry and Trade Minister Martin Kuba supports a guaranteed purchase price as CEZ AS (CEZ), the country’s biggest electricity generator, looks at ways to finance construction of two new reactors at Temelin, the newspaper said.
