U.K. Proposes Simplified Carbon Tax to Cut Costs for Business

The U.K. announced proposals to simplify its emissions tax known as the Carbon Reduction Commitment in a move the Department of Energy and Climate Change said will save businesses and public bodies 330 million pounds ($527 million) by 2030, according to an e-mailed statement today.
