Peruvian Stocks: Austral, Casa Grande, Grana, Telefonica

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 3:10 p.m. local time.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) rose for a third session, adding 1.4 percent to 23,650.62. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index (MXPECAPD) climbed 0.7 percent to 2,954.77.

Casa Grande (CASAGRC1) (CASAGRC1 PE), Peru’s largest sugar producer and a unit of Gloria SA, gained for a third session, adding 5.2 percent to 18.35 soles after the central bank increased its growth forecast for this year, said Inteligo SAB analyst Rodrigo Zuazo.

Telefonica del Peru SAA (TELEFBC1 PE), the local unit of Telefonica SA, gained 4.8 percent to 2.20 soles.

Austral Group SA (AUSTRAC1 PE), a unit of Austevoll Seafood ASA, rose 3.4 percent to 30 centimos.

Grana y Montero SA (GRAMONC1 PE), Peru’s largest construction firm, climbed 2.5 percent to 8.35 soles.
