IG Metall Head ‘Confident’ on Salary Increase, Berliner Reports

Germany’s IG Metall labor union is “confident” it will manage to get a “significant” pay increase in the current round of wage negotiations for the metal and electronic industries, Berthold Huber, the union’s head, said in an interview with Berliner Zeitung.
IG Metall is asking for 6.5 percent “more money,” the German newspaper said.
