Baylor Defeats Xavier to Reach Regional Final in NCAA Tournament

Third-seeded Baylor opened the game with a 22-4 run and never trailed in its 75-70 win against Xavier in the men’s national college basketball tournament.

Quincy Acy had 20 points and 15 rebounds for Baylor (30-7), which will play either top-seeded Kentucky or No. 4 Indiana in the South Regional final in two days in the National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament.

Tu Holloway had 22 points and Kenny Frease added 18 for 10th-seeded Xavier (23-13) in the game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
