Rosneft, TNK-BP, Novatek to Increase Gas Output, Minister Says

OAO Rosneft, Russia’s largest oil producer, plans to increase annual natural gas output by 15 billion cubic meters by 2014 compared with last year, Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko said today in a meeting with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in Kirishi near St. Petersburg.

TNK-BP Holding (TNBP) is also seeking to boost production, by an annual 9.7 billion cubic meters, while OAO Novatek plans to raise output by 7.8 billion cubic meters, he said at the meeting, monitored by journalists.
