Peruvian Stocks: Alturas, Candente, Relapasa, Rio Alto

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 3:10 p.m. Lima time.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell 1.2 percent to 22,772.60. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index (MXPECAPD) dropped 1.2 percent to 2,860.57.

Refineria la Pampilla SA (RELAPAC1 PE), a unit of Repsol YPF SA known as Relapasa, dropped 2.9 percent to 1.02 soles after crude fell to a one-week low in New York, said Arlen Lahura, a trader at Lima-based brokerage Coril SAB.

Maple Energy Plc (MPLE) , the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, declined 1.5 percent to $1.28.

Rio Alto Mining Ltd. (RIO) , a Canadian gold miner, slumped 4.2 percent to $4.15 after gold declined to a nine-week low in New York.

Cia. de Minas Buenaventura SAA (BVN PE), the country’s biggest precious metals miner, dropped 3.3 percent to $38.80.

Alturas Minerals Corp. (ALT) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, dropped 8.3 percent to 11 cents after copper declined the most in two weeks in New York.

Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian copper exploration company, fell for a third session, losing 2.8 percent to $1.04.
