Mexico Quake Damaged More Than 30,000 Homes, El Universal Says

Mexican officials said a 7.4- magnitude earthquake that struck March 20 damaged 30,000 homes in the southern state of Guerrero and 2,000 in Oaxaca, El Universal reported today.
Guerrero Governor Angel Aguirre said that near the epicenter of the quake, 800 houses were damaged beyond repair, the Mexico City-based newspaper reported.
