Credit Suisse proposed Iris Bohnet and Jean-Daniel Gerber for election to the board of directors and will also ask shareholders to approve the creation of so-called conversion capital for issuance of contingent convertible bonds. The Swiss government holds a regular meeting in Bern.

EARNINGS: -- Rieter (RIEN) said 2011 profit rose to SF119m from SF82.9m, the company will propose a dividend of 6 francs per share -- SPS (SPSN SW) said 2011 net income rose 51% to SF355.1m -- U-blox (UBXN SW) said 2011 profit rose to SF16.5m from SF12.9m
