UEFA’s Platini to Meet Erdogan on Match Fixing, Hurriyet Says

Michel Platini, president of European soccer federation UEFA, will fly to Turkey today to meet with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and discuss a match-fixing scandal in the Turkish league, Hurriyet reported.

Platini and Erdogan are meeting in advance of an UEFA Congress in Istanbul to be held March 22 with the participation of representatives of soccer leagues in 53 countries, Hurriyet said.
