Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 Index (XU100) climbed 0.3 percent to 62,537.33 at the close in Istanbul, rising for a fifth day and reaching its highest since July 15.

Aselsan Elektronik Sanayi & Ticaret AS (ASELS) , a defense electronics contractor, increased 1.4 percent to 10 liras, a record high, after saying it signed an accord with Kaddb Investment Group to set up a joint venture in Jordan in which it will own a 49 percent stake.
Ayen Enerji AS (AYEN) , a utility, added 2 percent to 1.53 liras, its highest level on a closing basis since November 17, after saying it started power generation using wind turbines at a 72-megawatt facility in Kayseri, central Turkey.
Vestel Beyaz Esya Sanayi & Ticaret AS (VESBE) , a maker of home appliances, advanced 6.6 percent to 2.25 liras , the highest since Aug. 5, after parent Vestel Elektronik Sanayi & Ticaret AS (VESTL) said it increased its stake to 73 percent. Vestel Eleketrik shares gained 5.6 percent to 2.27 liras, the biggest gain in more than two months.
