Mexico Stocks: Genomma Lab, Sare Holding, Penoles Are Active
The following companies are having unusual price changes in Mexico trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 11:03 a.m. local time.
The IPC index was little changed at 38,004.05.
Genomma Lab Internacional SAB (LABB) , the Mexican producer of over-the-counter drugs, fell for a third day, dropping 1.5 percent to 23.63 pesos after Prestige Brands Holdings Inc. (PBH) rejected its takeover bid on March 12.
Industrias Penoles SAB (PE&OLES*) (PE&OLES* MM), Mexico’s largest silver producer, fell 1 percent to 618.99 pesos as silver futures for May delivery retreated in New York.
Sare Holding SAB (SAREB) , the country’s worst performing homebuilder since its Feb. 27 earnings, fell 1.4 percent to 1.38 percent. Fitch Ratings cut the company’s national scale rating to B- from BB- yesterday.
