Italian 10-Year Bonds Advance; Yield Declines to 4.87 Percent

Italian 10-year government bonds rose, pushing the yield down three basis points to 4.87 percent as of 10:18 a.m. London time.

The nation’s two-year note yield also dropped three basis points, to 2.01 percent.

Italy sold 5 billion euros of three-year notes at an average yield of 2.76 percent today, and 1 billion euros of bonds maturing in 2019 at 4.3 percent.
