Allison Transmission Raises $600 Million in Expanded IPO

Allison Transmission Holdings Inc. raised $600 million pricing 26.1 million shares at $23 each in its initial public offering, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

The auto-parts maker formerly owned by General Motors Corp. had planned to offer 21.7 million shares for $22 to $24 each. The stock will start trading tomorrow on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol ALSN.
