Peru’s Natural Gas Output Rose in February on Power Plant Demand

Peruvian natural-gas production gained 7.4 percent to 1.15 billion cubic feet a day in February on rising demand from hydroelectric plants, the government said.

Crude oil and liquid-gas output dropped 3.6 percent from a year earlier to 149,610 barrels a day last month on declining output at Pluspetrol SA’s northern oilfields, state oil- licensing agency Perupetro said today in an e-mailed statement.
