Jets Sign Defensive Tackle Sione Pouha for 3 Years Ahead of Free Agency

The New York Jets re-signed defensive tackle Sione Pouha to a three-year contract, a day before he was to become a free agent.
The signing was reported by the Star-Ledger of Newark, New Jersey, and confirmed by team spokesman Bruce Speight in an e- mail. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Pouha made 58 tackles last season. The National Football League’s free-agent period begins at 4 p.m. New York time tomorrow.
