Grana y Montero Plans to Build Eight Housing Projects in Peru

Grana y Montero SA (GRAMONC1), a Lima-based construction company, said it will build eight housing projects in Peru “in the medium term” to meet rising demand.

The company aims to build 2,000 homes a year, up from 1,500 in 2011, Chief Executive Officer Jose Grana Miro Quesada said in a regulatory filing. Peru needs to build 100,000 to 150,000 homes annually to meet demand, he said in the filing.
