Bank of America Corp. (BAC)’s presentation at an investor conference in New York was interrupted twice today by protesters.
Chief Executive Officer Brian T. Moynihan halted his speech when a member of the audience began calling for the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company to be broken up, and again when another person began by citing International Women’s Day before the audio on the webcast was silenced.
Moynihan resumed his presentation at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel after a few minutes. The conference on financial services was sponsored by Citigroup Inc.
