Yen Weakens After Data Shows Japan Posted Record Current Account Deficit

The yen weakened after official data showed Japan had a record current account deficit in January.
The yen slid 0.3 percent to 81.33 per dollar as of 8:53 a.m. in Tokyo. It declined 0.2 percent to 106.85 per euro.
