German-Swiss Tax Accord May Finance Research, Handelsblatt Say

Germany may use revenue generated by a tax accord with Switzerland to finance technology research, Handelsblatt reported.

As much as 4 billion euros ($5.3 billion) may be garnered by the accord, according to estimates of the Finance Ministry in Berlin, the newspaper said, citing Free Democrat lawmaker Christian Lindner.
