Ciel of Mauritius Gains Most in 17 Months After Bid for Parent

Ciel Investment Ltd. (CIEL), a Mauritian company with interests in leisure and property, rose the most in almost 17 months.

The stock advanced 3.9 percent, its biggest daily gain since October 2010, to 2.70 rupees at the close in Port Louis, the capital.

Ciel Investment is an associate company of Deep River Investment Ltd. (DRIL), which said yesterday it has received an offer from a “prospective bidder.”
