Chile Studying Tax Changes to Raise Revenue, Cooperativa Reports

Chile’s government is studying tax changes that would result in a net increase in revenue to help finance higher education initiatives, Radio Cooperativa reported, citing Economy Minister Pablo Longueira.

The proposed changes, which will include tax increases for corporations and reductions in other areas, will go before Congress in April, the Santiago-based radio program reported on its website today.
