Banco Galicia Unit Plans to Boost Debt Program by $200 Million

Tarjeta Naranja SA, Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires (GALI) SA’s credit card unit, is seeking to increase the amount of debt it can sell under its international debt program by $200 million to $650 million, according to a statement posted on the Buenos Aires stock exchange.

The company will request approval from shareholders at a meeting tomorrow, the filing said. Cordoba-based Tarjeta Naranja sold $200 million of six-year bonds in January 2011, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
