Saudi Arabian Embassy Employee Shot Dead in Bangladesh, SPA Says

A Saudi Arabian employee at the kingdom’s embassy to Bangladesh was shot dead in Dhaka last night, the Saudi Press Agency reported, citing an unidentified official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Bangladesh authorities have begun an investigation into the killing of Khalaf Al Ali while he was walking near his house, the Riyadh-based official news service said. Saudi authorities asked their Bangladeshi counterparts to intensify security for employees of the kingdom’s diplomatic missions, SPA said.
