Qualcomm Boosts Quarterly Dividend by 16%, Sets $4 Bln Buyback

Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM), the world’s biggest maker of mobile-phone chips, raised its quarterly dividend 16 percent to 25 cents a share from 21.5 cents and said it will repurchase as much as $4 billion in shares.

The share repurchase program replaces a $3 billion authorization, of which about $948 million remained, the company said.
