Cyprus received an offer from China National Offshore Oil Co. to build a liquefaction plant to process and export its natural gas, Cyprus Mail reported, today citing government minister Praxoula Antoniadou.
CNOOC’s representatives, who last Friday met the minister, said that they had no interest in buying Noble Energy Inc. (NBL)’s exploration and exploitation license in Block 12, the Nicosia- based newspaper reported, citing Antoniadou, minister of commerce, industry and tourism.
