NWR to Invest Over 500 Million Euros Into Debiensko, WSJ Reports

New World Resources Plc, the largest Czech coking-coal producer, is investing more than 500 million euros ($661 million) into its Debiensko mine in Poland, Wall Street Journal reported, citing an interview with billionaire Zdenek Bakala.
The development of the Debiensko project will take about five years, the newspaper said, citing Bakala, whose investment firm BXR Group owns a 64 percent stake in NWR.
