Venezuela’s Chavez Had Tumor Removed, Says No Metastasis

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, speaking on state television, said doctors removed a cancerous tumor on Feb. 26 and that there was no sign that the cancer had spread.
Chavez said he will undergo radiotherapy in coming weeks and doesn’t rule out other treatment options for his undisclosed cancer.
