Rajon Rondo Leads Boston Celtics to 115-111 Overtime Win Against Knicks

The Boston Celtics defeated the New York Knicks 115-111 in overtime to log their fourth straight victory in the National Basketball Association.

The Celtics held on after the Knicks rallied from an 80-65 deficit near the end of the third quarter to lead 103-100 with 18 seconds to play in the fourth at TD Garden in Boston. Paul Pierce made a 26-foot 3-pointer with four seconds remaining to force overtime.

The Celtics improve to 19-17, while the Knicks drop to 18-19 with their fourth defeat in 14 games.

Rajon Rondo had 18 points, 20 assists and 17 rebounds for Boston, while Pierce scored 34 points.

Carmelo Anthony led New York with 25 points and seven rebounds, and Amar’e Stoudemire contributed 16 points and 13 rebounds. Jeremy Lin committed six turnovers, scored 14 points and had five assists for the Knicks.
