Spain Plans to Raise $39 Bln From State-Company Sales, ABC Says

Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy’s government is planning to sell state-owned companies for more than 29 billion euros ($39 billion), ABC reported, citing unidentified officials at the Economy Ministry.
The listed and unlisted companies to be sold include the national lottery, as well as enterprises owned by regions and municipalities; industries involved include water and transportation, the newspaper said.
