South Korea’s February Crude Imports Rise 13.2% by Volume

South Korea’s imports of crude oil rose 13.2 percent to 80.1 million barrels in February from 70.7 million barrels a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

The country’s crude import bill gained 34.6 percent to $9.4 billion in February after prices rose 18.9 percent to $117 a barrel, the ministry said.
