Peugeot Family to Stay Main Peugeot Shareholder, Echos Reports

The Peugeot family will own about 25 percent of PSA Peugeot Citroen and hold 40 percent of the voting rights after General Motors Co. (GM) buys a 7 percent stake in the French carmaker, Chairman Thierry Peugeot told Les Echos.

The family wants to remain the main shareholder of Peugeot and would not want to drop below 33 percent of the voting rights, Peugeot said in an interview published in tomorrow’s edition of the French newspaper.
